The Mountain Bothies Association is a charity registered in Scotland no. SC008685. Except for bookkeeping and membership services, the association is entirely run by volunteers.

This includes all bothy maintenance. Very few buildings in our care are less than a century old and the ravages of time make themselves apparent. The climate and the remoteness of bothies make maintenance a challenge.

We rely on subscriptions from our members and donations from the public. If you would like to help the maintenance work of the MBA then perhaps you might consider making a donation? This would be used to further our aim of preserving a network of unlocked shelters, free and open to all.

If you would like to help us by giving a donation then you can do so by sending a cheque/postal order/CAF voucher payable to “Mountain Bothies Association” to:

Mountain Bothies Association, Registered Office, Henderson, Black and Co, Edenbank House, 22 Crossgate, Cupar, KY15 5HW. You can also donate quickly and easily with all major credit cards via PayPal simply by clicking the button below.

If you would like a donation to be used in respect of a particular bothy or work party, then you should also e-mail mba@hendersonblack.co.uk
