Spithope bothy access

Due to tree felling operations, access to Spithope Bothy is only possible via the marked bridleway and not along the forest road. Please heed all warning signage. This will be in place until January 2019.

Despite a number of pleas not to cut and burn live wood, this is still happening. If it continues, the bothy is seriously under threat of having its stove removed. There is no need to use live wood, the estate delivers timber to use in the stove.
