LOGBOOK ENTRY:
“My grandmother was born in Strathchailleach in 1897, her family also lived in Sandwood house nearby as well as a house called Achiemore on the Cape Wrath side of the Kyle of Durness. She was one of the youngest of 10. It is an amazing place with a very well looked after bothy. Thanks for not just preserving my family’s history but also providing 5* accommodation in the middle of nowhere for people who require the facility”
