What is a Bothy?

Bothies and bothying have been described as many things. Holiday homes they are not.

Using a Bothy

The great attraction of using bothies is that there really aren't any rules as such.

Maintaining a Bothy

Except bookkeeping and membership services, the association is entirely run by volunteers.

Make a Bothy Report

If you can take a photo of a fault that you find, then that could be extremely helpful.

Attend a Work Party

The work party is a mainstay of the association, without it little would get done.

Bothy Code

The Bothies maintained by the MBA are available by courtesy of the owners. Please respect this privilege.
