If you are a lover of the great outdoors, you will almost certainly have come across one of the bothies that we maintain. Perhaps you have spent the night in one while visiting a remote area, or simply used it to shelter from inclement weather. Whether you use bothies or not, supporting the MBA by becoming a member is a great way to help preserve these unique shelters for the future. Members’ subscriptions provide the main funding for our maintenance work.

And as a member, you will have the opportunity, if you wish, to directly help the maintenance effort by joining one of our frequent work parties.
