In periods of heavy persistent rain the River Mallie is prone to flood a wide area around the bothy. This can be some feet deep along the access track, and become several inches deep within the bothy. Be prepared to evacuate to the upper floor!
Please note that the bridge marked on maps as being adjacent to the bothy has been relocated about a half-mile upstream on the Mallie.
