Bothies

The following pages provide brief details about the bothies in our care together with advice on using them. We would like to draw particular attention to the “Bothy Code” which is intended to promote responsible behaviour among all who use bothies, together with the additional advice in the section “Using a Bothy”. We would also like to highlight the fact that, as many bothies are situated on working estates, there could be some restriction on use. Any such restrictions are noted on the individual bothy pages and it is important that intending visitors observe them.

These pages also explain how you can help us to keep the buildings in good repair. And as we rely on visitors reporting to us any problems that they have found that need our attention, we have included an easy to use form that can be sent on-line to our Maintenance organisers.
